In 1991, Kyoko graduated from Musashino Art University Junior College of Art and Design.
She, located in Kasama city, became independent in 1996 and opened her fist kiln in 1998. In 2003, she opened Tsubame kiln in the city with her partner, HIRONO Bin. The kiln was moved in 2008 to another place (Kamigo county) in the same city.
With motifs of old tales, folktales and Chinese ancient stories, Kyoko creates her adorable works with full of her own worldview.
