Manami started her career as a potter at 20 years old. In 2019 she has opened her own studio in Tokyo, while she is caring a child.
She says, “I always make my works with the thought that they will be convenient as daily life tools, become part of user’s life and spend time together.”
Her works look mellow and mild and a sense of warmth dwells in slight traces of a potter’s wheel on the surface.
The form is simple but may bring something different to your dining table.
